What is the Bybit referral code?
A Bybit referral code is a short code that links a new account to whoever shared it. Ours is 82500. You enter it once, in the Referral Code (Optional) field, or you open our sign-up link, which carries it for you.
Bybit runs two separate programs, and the difference decides what you can expect (Bybit Referral FAQ, updated 19 September 2026):
- Referral Program. Ordinary Bybit users share a code with friends. Both sides can earn task bonuses, and the inviter earns part of the friend’s trading fees.
- Affiliate Program. Selected partners, called affiliates, earn an ongoing commission on the trading of the people they refer.
82500 is an affiliate invitation code. The sign-up page our link opens is titled “Join Bybit via the Affiliate Program” and shows 82500 as the code (checked 21 September 2026).
Two terms first. USDT is Tether, a stablecoin (a coin pegged to the US dollar). Futures let you bet on a coin’s price rising or falling without owning it, often with leverage (borrowed money).
Signing up with 82500 has three effects under Bybit’s own rules:
- We earn a commission. Bybit shares part of its trading fee profit from your trades with us, not on top of your fees. The link can end after 180 days without trades (Bybit Affiliate FAQ, updated 19 September 2026).
- You can’t switch later. Once an affiliate code is on your account, Bybit won’t cancel or change it (Bybit affiliate code guide, checked 21 September 2026).
- Don’t expect the friend-referral tasks. The 10 USDT and 15 USDT task bonuses belong to Bybit’s Referral Program. No Bybit page grants them to people who sign up with an affiliate code like 82500.
82500 comes with no promised fee rebate, so plan on Bybit’s standard fees.

Referral code, invitation code, promo code: what is the difference?
On Bybit, all these names go into one box: the Referral Code (Optional) field on the sign-up form. What matters is which program the code belongs to.

You can leave the field blank and still create an account (FAQ: Account Settings, November 2025). Real bonuses appear in the Rewards Hub, where your rewards are listed and claimed.

How do you use Bybit referral code 82500 when you sign up?
Enter 82500 in the Referral Code (Optional) field before you finish sign-up. Only step 3 involves the code.
- Open the official Bybit website or app. Type bybit.com yourself, or install the Bybit App for iOS or Android (Bybit app download).
- Choose Sign Up. Use an email address or a mobile number. The form also offers Google or Apple sign-up.
- Enter 82500 in the Referral Code (Optional) field. Tap the small arrow next to the label if the box is folded. If you opened our sign-up link, 82500 should already be there.
- Tap “Get My Welcome Gifts”. That is the label on Bybit’s sign-up button, and tapping it accepts Bybit’s Terms of Service. You may also need to solve a slide puzzle.
- Complete Identity Verification (KYC). Bybit requires at least the Standard level for all products. It usually takes about 15 minutes, but can take up to 48 hours. Bybit verifies one account per person (Bybit KYC FAQ, August 2026).
- Open the Rewards Hub before you start any task. Read each task’s rules first. Claiming needs KYC, and a reward can take up to 3 days to arrive (Rewards Hub FAQ, checked 21 September 2026).

What do you actually get with Bybit code 82500?
We found no Bybit page that sets a fixed reward for 82500. The sign-up page our link opens shows an offer for referred users. It changes, can differ by country, and we found no full written terms for it.
On 14 September 2026, the page our link opens said “Get 20 USDT in Rewards Instantly”, for signing up and completing your profile. Our videos from that week mention this offer. By 21 September it was gone (the sign-up page our link opens, checked 21 and 22 September 2026). It then said “Grab a $100 sign-up bonus” and “earn up to $30,000 in deposit bonuses”, split into tiers.
The banner gave no conditions for the $100. Bybit’s home page calls its sign-up rewards up to 100 USDT in task-based Welcome Bonuses, so treat 100 as a ceiling, not a gift.
Each tier needs a deposit plus trading volume. On 21 September, the smallest tier we saw offered a 50 USD bonus for a 500 USD deposit plus 100,000 USD of trading. The largest offered 30,000 USD for a 250,000 USD deposit plus 150 million USD of trading.
Bybit lists these under a heading about benefits for referred users. When we opened the sign-up page without a code on 22 September 2026, from the same location, this banner didn’t appear. Bybit treated that location as restricted, so what you see in your country may differ. As bonuses, these rewards can’t be withdrawn, only the profits made with them.
Every trade that counts toward volume costs a fee. At Bybit’s VIP 0 futures fees, 100,000 USD of trading costs about 20 USD with maker orders. With taker orders (orders that fill at once), it costs 55 USD. So the 50 USD tier can cost 40% to more than 100% of its value in fees. The two largest tiers carry an asterisk, and Bybit’s page text says only taker orders count toward their volume. At the VIP 0 taker fee, 150 million USD of trading costs about 82,500 USD. Higher VIP levels pay less.
We found no written terms for these offers, and Bybit’s “FAQ Affiliate Bonuses” help page was empty when we checked.

The tiers depend on trading. Bybit bonuses work as margin (the money that backs a position) for futures, not for spot trading (buying coins outright). New futures orders default to Cross Margin mode, where your whole futures balance backs every position, with 10x leverage (Bybit futures guide, August 2026). A price move against you can then trigger liquidation: Bybit closes your position, and in Cross Margin mode you can lose your whole futures balance. Don’t trade just to reach a reward tier.
So should you use 82500? Use it if you want to support this site. Our link opens Bybit’s referred-user offer, if Bybit shows one in your country. Every tier needs a deposit plus heavy trading, so don’t sign up for the bonus alone.
Bybit sign-up bonus: how the Welcome Bonuses of up to 100 USDT work
The Bybit sign-up bonus is a set of new-user tasks that Bybit advertises as “up to 100 USDT in Welcome Bonuses”. That is what the rendered home page showed on 21 and 22 September 2026. “Up to” is the total across the tasks, and you only receive rewards for the tasks you complete.
Bybit’s July 2026 campaign shows how these tasks work (Bybit announcement, July 2026). It offered up to 120 USDT. KYC paid 5 USDT, a first card deposit 10 USDT, and a first 500 USD trade 5 USDT. Trading volume added more:

That campaign ran from 9 to 31 July 2026, so today’s tasks and amounts may differ. Users had to click Register Now before any task and pass Identity Verification Lv.1, and rewards arrived within 10 days after the event. Bybit also disqualifies people who open several accounts to farm bonuses (Rewards Hub FAQ, November 2025).
The reward types, and what each one is worth to you
Bybit’s Rewards Hub lists seven reward types. Here are three, and only one works like your own money.

A funding fee is a small payment exchanged at set times between traders betting on a rise (long) and on a fall (short). Copy trading means automatically copying another trader’s positions.
Bybit uses a bonus before your own funds, and claimed bonuses and unused fee savers expire.

Is there a free Bybit promo code or a 30,000 USDT bonus?
No code gives you free, withdrawable USDT on Bybit. The 30,000 figure is on the sign-up page our link opens, but only as the top tier described above: a 250,000 USD deposit plus 150 million USD of trading. On 13 September 2026, no Bybit page we reviewed showed it at all. A code doesn’t turn any of this into cash.
Don’t open extra accounts to collect rewards twice, either. Bybit lets each person verify only one account (Bybit KYC FAQ, August 2026).
Can you add a Bybit referral code after registration?
Yes, but only an affiliate invitation code such as 82500, and only within 14 days of registering. A Referral Program code from an ordinary user can’t be added later (Bybit affiliate code guide, June 2026, checked 21 September 2026):
- The account was registered within the past 14 days. Later requests are rejected.
- It is a Main Account, not a subaccount (a secondary account under your main one), market maker or institutional account.
- It has no affiliate or referral code yet, and the code comes from a Bybit affiliate.
- Once added, the code can’t be cancelled or changed.
To add 82500:
- Go to Profile, then open your Account page.
- Under the Account Info tab, choose Join an Affiliate’s Community. If you don’t see it, your account doesn’t meet the rules above.
- Enter the invitation code, 82500, and a short reason. Read the disclaimer, then submit. Your registered code then shows on Account Info.
Bybit’s older account FAQ (November 2025) still says codes can’t be added after sign-up. That still holds for friends’ codes, but the June 2026 page is newer for affiliate codes. We found no Bybit terms on whether a code added later qualifies for the referred-user offer that the sign-up page shows.
Bybit referral code not working: common causes and fixes
Usually it’s a typo, the wrong kind of code, or an account that’s too old.

Otherwise, contact Bybit support from inside the official app or website, and never share your password or 2FA code.
Codes from Reddit or a friend: which one should you use?
Pick a code by what it can bring you, because on Bybit codes follow different rules. Codes on Reddit and other forums belong to other users or affiliates. Check which program a code belongs to, ignore bonus figures in old threads, and never use a sign-up link sent by private message.

One more thing can differ between affiliate codes. Bybit’s affiliate site says approved affiliates get a referral link “with customizable user cashback rates” (Bybit Affiliate Program, September 2026). So some affiliate links may give you cashback on fees. 82500 comes with no promised fee rebate. If cashback matters to you, choose a code whose owner states the rate in writing.
Whoever’s code you pick, run these checks first:
- Never pay for a code. Referral and invitation codes are free to share.
- Ignore fixed bonus promises. Bybit’s own sign-up offer changed within one week in September 2026.
- Check promised cashback against your fee after your first trade. Only sign up on Bybit’s official site: bybit.com, or bybit.eu if you live in the EEA.

Who can’t use Bybit? Restricted countries, Bybit EU and the UK
Bybit doesn’t serve its Excluded Jurisdictions, and new EEA users must use Bybit EU. A referral code changes none of this.

MiCAR (or MiCA) is the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation, the law that licenses crypto firms across the EEA. The UK ban comes from the FCA, the UK’s financial regulator, in 2021. Bybit can add excluded places at any time.
Both where you live and your nationality count. Bybit’s restricted list covers where you are. Its KYC FAQ adds that identity-check restrictions follow your nationality (Bybit KYC FAQ, August 2026). So a citizen of an excluded country who lives elsewhere may also be refused.
Bybit EU referral code: how it differs
Bybit EU runs its own referral program (Bybit EU referral page, rules of March 2026). You and your friend each earn 25 EUR in BTC when the friend tops up 100 EUR, for up to 20 friends a month. It excludes Malta and can’t be combined with Bybit EU’s Affiliate Program.
When we opened Bybit EU’s sign-up page with our affiliate details on 22 September 2026, it showed “Referral Code: 82500” and an invitation to Bybit EU. We haven’t completed a sign-up there, so we can’t confirm what the code brings on Bybit EU.
Note (22 September 2026): this video says a global Bybit referral code doesn’t work on Bybit EU. On 22 September 2026, Bybit EU’s sign-up page opened through our link showed “Referral Code: 82500”. Bybit’s own pages are the current rule.
How the Bybit referral program pays referrers
Bybit’s Referral Program pays ordinary users task bonuses plus a share of their friends’ trading fees. Affiliates like us are paid separately.
Bybit advertises up to 1,720 USDT in task rewards and up to 30% commission (Bybit Referral FAQ, updated 19 September 2026). Your friend is the “referee”, and the main tasks pay both of you a bonus:

Smaller tasks add 7 USDT each for a 100 USD fiat deposit and 3 USDT each for 100 USD in Bybit savings. The fine print:
- What counts. One-Click Buy (card or bank purchases), P2P (buying from another user), crypto and fiat deposits count; internal transfers don’t. Grid Bot (automatic bot) trades, MT5 platform trades and zero-fee pairs don’t count as volume.
- Checks and deadlines. Bybit checks referees’ accounts for 14 days, so your friend shouldn’t withdraw then. You then have 30 days to claim, from a monthly pool of 500,000 USDT. Claims are first come, first served, with a daily limit.
- Commission. You start at 20% of your friends’ trading fees, rising to 25% or 30% with more qualified referees, or more referee volume, each quarter. It runs for up to 365 days from each friend’s sign-up, but can end if the friend makes no trades for 180 days. It’s paid daily in USDT (Bybit Referral page, September 2026).
Bybit doesn’t run the Referral Program in Germany, the UK, France, Belgium or Hong Kong.
What is the Bybit Mystery Box?
The Mystery Box is a Referral Program reward worth up to 1,000 USDT, for both the referrer and the friend. The friend must complete the deposit task, then trade 10,000 USD within 30 days of signing up. We found no Bybit page that lists what is inside or the odds. Rewards arrive in the Rewards Hub, and bonuses can’t be withdrawn. It isn’t promised to people who sign up with an affiliate code like 82500.
Where to find your own Bybit referral code
On bybit.com, click More in the top bar, then Referral Program. Your code is on the referral dashboard (How to obtain your referral code, November 2025). Friends are linked to you only if they enter it at sign-up.

Bybit fees and safety settings before your first deposit
A referral code doesn’t change what you pay. These are Bybit’s standard VIP 0 rates, the non-VIP level (Bybit Trading Fee Structure, updated 2 September 2026, checked 21 September 2026). Bybit notes that actual rates may vary by region.

A maker adds an order to the order book, the list of waiting buy and sell orders. A taker fills an existing one. Higher VIP levels pay less.
Deposits below a coin’s minimum are not credited or refunded (Bybit Deposit FAQ, August 2026).
Then set up these protections:
- Turn on 2FA. Two-factor authentication asks for a second code when you log in or withdraw. Bybit requires email plus Google Authenticator checks before an on-chain withdrawal (Bybit withdrawal guide, April 2026).
- Set an anti-phishing code. Your own code then appears in every genuine Bybit email and SMS.
- Practise first. Bybit Demo Trading gives you 1,000,000 USD in demo funds and needs no deposit or identity check (Bybit Demo Trading, September 2026).
Bybit publishes Proof of Reserves, a report showing it holds at least as much of each coin as users deposited. It says it holds user assets 1:1 (Bybit Proof of Reserves). Hackers stole funds from Bybit in early 2025. Afterwards, Bybit said key assets such as BTC, ETH and USDT still exceeded 100% collateral ratios (Bybit incident timeline, March 2025). These are Bybit’s own figures, not government deposit insurance.
What to do next
- Sign up on the official Bybit website or app and enter 82500 in the Referral Code (Optional) field before you finish, or add it within 14 days.
- Complete Identity Verification, then turn on 2FA and set an anti-phishing code before your first deposit.
- Open the Rewards Hub and read each task’s rules and expiry date, and practise futures on Demo Trading before you risk real money.

Can I use a Bybit referral code in the US, UK or EU?
Not in the US or Canada, because Bybit doesn’t serve them. New EEA residents must register on Bybit EU, which runs its own referral program. The UK isn’t on Bybit’s excluded list, but the Referral Program doesn’t run there. Don’t use a VPN or someone else’s documents.
How much does Bybit pay per referral?
