A Bitget referral code is a short invite code that links a new account to the person or partner who shared it. Ours is 56969. You enter it once, in the Referral code field on the sign-up form.
Bitget runs two separate invite systems. Any user can share a code from the Referral page in the app. Approved content creators can also join the Affiliate Program and share codes from an affiliate portal. We share 56969 through a Bitget partner link, the kind that portal creates (Bitget affiliate code guide, May 2026). So we treat 56969 as an affiliate code.
Three terms before we go on. USDT is Tether, a stablecoin (a coin pegged to the US dollar). BGB is Bitget Token, Bitget’s own coin, which can also pay fees on spot trading (buying and selling coins outright). Futures are contracts that let you bet on a coin’s price going up or down without owning it.
What this means for you:

Bitget Wallet is a separate self-custody app (you hold your own keys) with its own Refer2Earn referral system (Bitget Wallet referral guide, 2026). An exchange code like 56969 doesn’t belong there.
How do you use Bitget referral code 56969 when you sign up?
Enter 56969 in the Referral code field before you submit the sign-up form. Only step 4 involves the code, and the identity check usually takes up to an hour.
Open the official Bitget app or website. Type www.bitget.com yourself, or install the app from Google Play or the Apple App Store. Bitget says to download its apps only from those stores or its own site (Bitget anti-phishing guide, January 2025).
Tap Sign up. Use an email address or a mobile number. You must be at least 18 (Bitget Terms of Use, August 2026).
Create a strong password. Use one you don’t use on any other site.
Type 56969 in the Referral code field. It is five digits, with no letters. If you opened a sign-up link, check that the field shows 56969 before you continue.
Submit the form. Bitget sends a verification code to your email or phone.
Complete identity verification (KYC). KYC is the identity check exchanges run before you can deposit or trade. Bitget has required it for deposits and trading since 1 January 2024, and reviews usually take up to 60 minutes (Bitget KYC FAQ, April 2024).
Turn on 2FA before your first deposit. 2FA (two-factor authentication) asks for a second code from your phone when you log in or withdraw.

In the Referral Program, the invitee registers with the referrer’s link or code and logs in to the app. Then they must trade the required spot plus futures volume within 15 days. Miss the 15 days, and Bitget says neither side receives the rewards.
Bitget doesn’t say whether users invited by an affiliate receive these airdrops, so we don’t promise them with 56969. Our videos say 56969 brings them, but go by this section. After you sign up, check the Referral section and the Rewards Center to see which tasks your account shows.
Some affiliate codes share money back: Bitget lets affiliates set a rebate share for users who join through their link. 56969 comes with no promised fee rebate. If a rebate matters to you, choose a code whose owner states the share in writing.
So which code should you use? If the Referral Program’s BGB airdrop matters to you, the route Bitget documents is a code from a friend’s Referral page. If you simply want an account, 56969 supports this site and adds nothing to your fees. Bitget’s Welcome Pack rules don’t list a code as a condition in either case.
Bitget welcome bonus: how the Welcome Pack of up to 6,200 USDT works
The Bitget welcome bonus is a set of new-user tasks worth up to 6,200 USDT in total. It is Bitget’s own program, not something the referral code gives you. UK readers should skip this section: UK rules ban crypto incentives such as “refer a friend” bonuses (FCA, June 2023). Bitget’s Rewards Center rules say new users can get a 200 USDT Welcome Bonus by inviting one friend. They can also earn up to 6,000 USDT in challenge rewards by depositing and trading within 7 days of registration (Rewards Center rules, checked 21 September 2026).
The live page can show different tasks from the rules page. On 21 September 2026, the logged-out Rewards Center showed these:
Check-in reward (labelled “Welcome pack”): a 200 USDT BTC futures position boost voucher (a voucher that adds bonus funds to a futures position) for checking in on three days.
Deposit and trading challenge: 50 USDT for completing three tasks. You need a net deposit (deposits minus withdrawals) of at least 1,000 USDT, 100 USDT of spot volume and 300,000 USDT of futures volume.
“Up to 6,200 USDT” is the total across every task, and you only receive rewards for the tasks you complete. These rules decide what you keep:
Claim on time. After a promotion ends, Bitget runs a 3-day monitoring period. You then have 2 days to claim rewards by hand in the Rewards Center, or they expire.
Rewards arrive as coupons. Claimed rewards appear in the Coupons Center as futures trading bonuses and spot fee rebate vouchers, not as cash.
Some accounts are excluded. Sub-accounts (secondary accounts under your main one), institutional accounts and API traders (people trading through software connections) can’t get rewards.
Coupons Center trading bonuses and vouchers: what each one is worth
None of these rewards is withdrawable cash. A few terms first. Leverage means trading with borrowed money, which makes gains and losses bigger. Margin is your own money that backs a futures position. Isolated margin means only the money you put into that one position is at risk. Hedge mode lets you hold a long (a bet the price rises) and a short (a bet it falls) at once. A funding fee is a small payment exchanged every 8 hours between long and short traders.

⚠️ Watch out: If a trading bonus becomes invalid because you withdrew or transferred funds, Bitget says open positions can be partly or fully liquidated. Liquidation means Bitget closes your position and the margin in it is gone. Don’t open a futures position just to earn a reward.
Is there a free Bitget bonus code or free 6,200 USDT?
No code gives you free, withdrawable USDT on Bitget. The 6,200 USDT figure is the Welcome Pack ceiling, and it is paid as vouchers and trading bonuses after you complete tasks.
The “200 USDT for a code” idea is a common misreading. In Bitget’s rules, the 200 USDT Welcome Bonus goes to a new user who invites one friend. On the live page, the 200 USDT item was a futures voucher for check-ins. Neither version is cash for typing a code.
Good to know: Stop if a page, video or chat asks you to send crypto first to “activate” a bonus. Bitget says it never sends unsolicited direct messages asking for personal information or funds (Bitget official channel check, July 2025). Its representatives never ask for your password, and funds lost to phishing are generally not recoverable (Bitget anti-phishing guide, January 2025).
Don’t open extra accounts to collect rewards twice, either. Bitget’s Terms of Use allow individuals only one account, and each person can verify only one account (Bitget KYC FAQ, April 2024).
Can you add a Bitget referral code after registration?
We found no Bitget exchange page that describes adding a referral code after sign-up. So treat sign-up as your only chance, and check the field before you submit.
Bitget Wallet’s rule doesn’t change this. The Wallet lets new Wallet users bind a code within 7 days of sign-up (Bitget Wallet help, checked 21 September 2026). That is the Wallet’s own referral system, and it doesn’t add a referrer to your exchange account. And don’t open a new exchange account to fix a missing code, because Bitget allows one account per person.
If you already registered without a code, your standard fees are the same. Bitget’s Welcome Pack rules don’t mention a referral code either.

Pick a code from a source you trust, and ask which kind it is. A code from a creator’s partner link usually comes from an affiliate portal. Affiliate codes may share a fee rebate, depending on the owner’s settings, and ours comes with no promised rebate.

Bitget referral commission: how the referral and affiliate programs pay referrers
Referral Program users earn BGB airdrops and Mystery Boxes, while affiliates earn 40% to 50% of their invitees’ trading fees. This section is for readers who want to invite others.
Referral Program (any user). Tap the Referral icon in the app to get your own link or code. When an invitee reaches 500 USDT of trading volume within 15 days, you both receive a $15 BGB airdrop. At 50,000 USDT, you both receive another $15 BGB airdrop (Bitget Referral Program, checked 21 September 2026).
Both sides also get Mystery Boxes, which can hold USDT cash, trading bonuses, vouchers or a 30% spot fee rebate voucher. Bitget’s Protection Fund for extreme market events averaged 351 million dollars in July 2026 (Bitget Protection Fund report, August 2026). Both are Bitget’s own figures, not government deposit insurance.
